So here it goes...
I am a graduate student at Walden University. As an assignment for my class, Understanding the Impact of Technology on Education, Work, and Society, I have to set up my own blog site. I am excited about beginning this assignment because I want to eventually integrate this tool into my classroom for my students to use for an educational purpose.
To begin, I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia but moved to Columbia, South Carolina almost four years ago to teach 7th grade World History. I love my job because I never know what to expect from my students each and every day...they always surprise me with what they say and do! In addition to teaching, I am also the dance team coach at my school. I grew up dancing in Atlanta all my life so I am glad that I get to share both of my passions with my students, history and dance.
I look forward to sharing ideas from my classroom with you.
Awesome, I am from Chatsworth, GA close to Dalton. My inlaws are big UGA fans. I also danced growing up. I had a chance to coach a dance team at the high school but with this class thought it would be too much. Maybe in a few years. Nice picture of Paris!
